The teachers and students from the Department of Food Nutrition and Health Biotechnology at the Asia University promotes the University Student Responsibility (USR) Program regarding Senior Care in Wu-Feng area. Several neurological physicians from the Hospital of China Medical University also joined the program to work together. The major goal of this specific USR program is to connect with the community long-term care bases to effectively reduce the incidence of dementia by the nutrition concepts and medical nutrition therapy promotion, the physicians’ medical evaluation, and the dementia database analysis. All processes in the USR program will enable the students to gain senior care related knowledge and experience in working with senior.
