Professor Hui-Wen Lo, from the Department of Cancer Biology at Wake Forest School of Medicine, was invited to Asia University on December 4, 2019 to give a talk entitled “Role of truncated glioma-associated oncogene homolog 1 (tGLI1) as a mediator and a therapeutic target for cancer stem cells and metastasis”, as part of the graduate course of “Forum in Scientific Studies”. The talk, chaired by Dr. Mei-Chin Mong, Associated Professor of Department of Food Nutrition and Health Biotechnology, was attended by 22 graduate students as well as academic staff.
