Four faculty members in the Department of Food Nutrition and Health Biotechnology, Distinguished Professor Hsiao-Ling Charlene Chen, Associate Professor Jeng-Shyan Deng, Associate Professor Ya-Chen Yang, and Assistant Professor Wen-Tzu Wu received the Asia University Innovative Teaching Materials Awards of the 2018 academic year.

The Asia University Innovative Teaching Materials Research Awards are presented annually to faculty members who had created innovative teaching materials to reinvent learning experience in the classroom.
