Dr. Kuo-Chiang Hsu made an oral presentation titled “A novel in silico approach for predicting in vitrodipeptidyl peptidase (DPP)-IV inhibitory activity of protein hydrolysates” at the annual conference of International Society for Nutraceuticals and Functional Food (ISNFF) held in Orlando FL, USA October 9-12, 2016. The 2016 ISNFF conference offered more than 200 oral and poster presentations by more than 150 scholars from over 30 countries. One of the most popular topics is bioactive functional peptides and their applications during this conference. ISNFF is one of the largest international society delectated to health food research with regular worldwide conferences held since 2008.
Dr. Kuo-Chiang Hsu is an expert in bioactive peptide research. His latest presentation demonstrated a computational prediction of bioactive antidiabetic hydrolytic process, which is one of the highlight in this latest conference. Besides antidiabetic products, Dr. Hsu’s research also encompasses antioxidative and antihypertensive peptides derived from hydrolysis of food source.
